AI-Z Zine

AI-Zine maps different modes of resistance onto the movement against generative AI. It features ideas for action, rest and creativity.

This zine is the result of a collaboration between four activists and Identity 2.0. We discussed and documented one another's modes and methods of resistance, shared rituals and created zines to represent our practices. From there, Identity 2.0 developed this zine to apply the methods to generative AI.

This zine was exhibited at ‘Tipping Point: Artists respond to AI’ during Edinburgh Art Festival in August 2025, and funded by BRAID.

The cost of this zine only covers our overheads (e.g printing, hosting and admin). We don’t make any money from this and want to keep it as cheap as possible.
